Clint:
Like a lot of Fullerenes songs, this tune was based on an oldie - I was always impressed by Leslie Gore's song "It's My Party" with its big harmonic chromaticism in the verses... this tune was an attempt to do something like that.

The pitched percussion instrument was a set of glasses from Ryan's kitchen that I played with a spoon... Bob and Ryan both played sax on this tune, and I "played" trombone.
