I had the riff for this one since high school... I don't remember exactly what prompted Bob and I to pull it out of mothballs, but we wrote it during the Better Dating sessions.

I'm not aware of too many 3/4 punk pop songs with this feel, so the song has that going for it anyway. For music theory geeks: the term for a 3/4 song that switches to a 2/4 feel (as this does in the bridge) is "hemiola."
